Royal Enfield Interceptor GT 650

Royal Enfield has launched it’s latest and the most awaited model of the year “Interceptor GT 650”. This is the first time Royal Enfield is launching a 650cc motorcycle.

The Interceptor GT 650 has an air-cooled twin parallel engines with oil coolers for better quality performance. The engine is designed in a way that it contains two way for exhausts. The fuel injection motor has an RPM of about 7100 with a power of 47 PS, the maximum torque of 52 Nm at a maximum of 4000 RPM. Here the accessible torque is at a reverse range. Interceptor has a six-speed gear system that gives an easy and smooth ride on the highways.

This Royal Enfield product has provided a ‘slip/assist’ clutch in the gearbox that will provide an easy and smooth journey in heavy traffics. Interceptor GT 650 will not be having any kind of trouble with its gear system like the previous wheel-hop problem while shifting down the gears. Another important upgrade for this bike is that the company has developed the chassis from the ground level at its’s UK Technology Centre of Royal Enfield.

Interceptor GT 650’s design is like a classic model from the 60’s. The Interceptor is designed with an 18-inch front and rear Pirelli tires, this will give the required balance in the Indian roads. This motorcycle is made with twin shock absorbers with front and rear disc brakes which has Anti Breaking System technology.

 

The tear-drop shaped fuel-tank will give a classy look to the bike, there are twin-seat and distinctive wide braced handlebars for the Interceptor GT 650. The looks are stunning for this bike. The company assured that there won’t be any vibration in the mirrors while riding at 90+ Kmph. The headlight is the same design like the Thunderbird series. The classy Interceptor INT 650 comes with an Orange Crush and Glitter & Dust color variant model.

 

Royal Enfield Interceptor GT 650 is expected to be at a price range of ₹ 3,25,000. The Kerb/Wet Weight of the motorbike is 202 kg. The Fuel Tank Capacity is 13.70 liters, which is quite impressive. Fuel efficiency will be between 20-25 Km/Liter. This bike is expected to hit the Indian market in summer of 2018.
